日本芒草觀賞最佳時間 | Japan Silver Grass 2023
日本芒草景點遍佈全國，通常芒草最佳觀賞時間是在9月至11月，部份平原地區將會延至11月中旬。不同的地區造就了獨特風光，景觀多變，有高山、充滿古老氣息的宮殿、也有高原。
九州和四國的芒草景點
背包豬和小白先去看看九州阿蘇。
早秋來臨時，黃昏時分，夕陽西下，阿蘇外輪山的草原上，蒲葦的穗子遍地開花，在陽光下閃閃發光，變成了金黃色的海洋。阿蘇草原上的紫芒從9月中旬生長，現在達到頂峰的時候，從草原上可以欣賞到阿蘇特有的秋天風景。

在平城宮跡歷史公園朱雀門一帶就能看到蒲葦，不過現在的蒲葦規模不大，似乎還不是時候，可能稍後會更好。

第二個景點是葛城高原。葛城山以春天的杜鵑花聞名，秋天葛城山頂整個地區都變成了金色蒲葦的海洋，景色非常優雅，令人心曠神怡。葛城高原的山頂也不算高，標高約960米，可以乘搭葛城山纜車到達的地方。在這裡可以在山頂360度全景，下方能俯瞰大阪平原和奈良盆地的景色。現在是芒草見頃的時候，山上呈現金黃色的海洋。

In late autumn, miscanthus is flying. Silver awns ripple in the autumn wind. Shining golden light under the setting sun. Miscanthus has been soothing people's hearts since many years ago.
"Hagi flowers, Susuki, Kuzu, kawaranadeshiko, ominaeshi, kikyou" are the "seven autumn flowers" mentioned in the famous ancient Japanese literary work "Man'yoshu".
In Japan, miscanthus has a long history and profound cultural significance. Japanese miscanthus can be found everywhere in ancient times, as they were often used along with thatch and reeds to make thatched roofs. When people stopped using thatched roofs, miscanthus, thatch and reeds slowly formed a grassland, creating a unique autumn landscape.
There are many miscanthus spots all over Japan. Which spot is a good place to watch it now?

Let’s first visit Aso in the Kyushu region. The Aso region is Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Aso Volcano is one of the largest calderas in the world, with more than 20,000 hectares of vast grassland on this plateau.
The grass on the Aso grassland has been growing since mid-September. Now when it reaches its peak, you can enjoy the unique autumn scenery of Aso from the grassland.
When early autumn comes, at dusk and the sun sets, miscanthusears bloom everywhere on the grasslands, sparkling in the sun and turning into a golden ocean.
If you want to see the scenery of volcanoes and miscanthus, the panoramic platform at Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture is a good choice. Yamanakako Observation Deck is located in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is a spectacular observation deck where you can see Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. When autumn comes, it is a famous spot for viewing miscanthus and you can see miscanthus and Mount Fuji landscape.
The best time to view at the Yamanakako Panorama Platform is usually from mid-September to late October. However, it is a bit inconvenient to take public transportation, as there are no buses to get there.

In the Kansai region, are there any spectacular miscanthus landscapes?
It is said that there are many Miscanthus landscapes in Nara Prefecture. Let’s explore.
The first attraction is Heijo Palace Historical Park.
The Heijo Palace Historical Park is located on the outskirts of Nara Prefecture. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Yamato Saidaiji Station on the Kintetsu. It is a good place to see the ancient castle and miscanthus. You can see miscanthus in the palace, but the scale is not large now. It seems that it is not the right time yet. It may be better later.
The second attraction is Katsuragi Plateau.
The top of the Katsuragi Plateau is not too high, with an altitude of about 960 meters. It can be reached by taking the Katsuragi Mountain Cable Car. Mount Katsuragi is famous for its azaleas in spring. In autumn, the entire area at the top of Katsuragi Mountain turns into a sea of golden miscanthus. The scenery is very elegant and refreshing. You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view from the top of the mountain, with the Osaka Plain and Nara Basin below. Now is the time when the miscanthus is in full bloom, and a golden sea appears on the mountains.
