New Bus Fare Hikes in Hong Kong

Starting from 2:30 a.m. tomorrow (5th), bus fares in Hong Kong are going up. Citybus fares will increase by 7.5%, KMB by 4.3%, and Island Bus by 6.5%. Over 100 bus lines will see fare hikes, especially the B lines at border crossings. Here are the new prices:

- KMB Line B1 (Tin Tsit - Lok Ma Chau Station): $15.3
- Lantao Bus Line B2 (Yuen Long - Shenzhen Bay Port): $15.8
- Citybus Line B3 (Tuen Mun - Shenzhen Bay Port): $16.5
- Lantao Bus Line B4 (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port - Airport): $9.8
- Line B5 (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port - Sunny Bay): $6.1 (unchanged)
- Lantao Bus Line B6 (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port - Mun Tung Estate): $9.8
- Citybus Route B7 (Sheung Shui - Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point): $11.3
- Citybus Line B8 (Tai Wai Station - Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point): $18.1
- KMB Route B9 (Tuen Mun - Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point): $21.3
