京都車站是京都鐵道交通最核心的一個地方，不少朋友往返京都市，都會在京都站使用近鐵或JR。京都前是指京都車站烏丸口前的巴士總站，是京都市巴士其中一個主要的總站。光是乘車區就分開A,B,C,D4區，然後再細分1,2,3車站等等。別說是第一次去京都，就算京都去了不少次，也是很容易搞亂車站和巴士路線。所以背包豬製作了下表供大家參考。
資料參考2016年3月的京都市交通局的資料，巴士站的具體位置和路線可能隨時改變，以下資料只供參考。
